the one that started it all.Cover based on the iconic Griffins Sampler biscuit box that has been a Christmas staple for many New Zealanders.This collection was begun as a challenge for musician Trevor Faville who decided that "if I was going going to teach songwritng and composition, then I had better make sure that I was doing it- for real- as well" Friends and Students were drafted in, and DateMonthYear as a musical concept began.

Over the years "Sampler" proved unexpectedly popular, as the songs were frequently used for licensing to TV and Movies world wide. Customers include the A&E network, MTV South America, The Discovery Channel, and the History Channel, among many others. Even in 2016, 'Lovesafety' was used in the first episode of New Zealands 'most expensive' Television programme "Filthy Rich".

One track "Haunted" has been used for a music video, one of many over at our YouTube channel.
